Musculoskeletal/Orthopaedic concerns
Children can either be born with problems with their bones and muscles or they can develop problems as their skeletons grow. Trauma/injury is another common reason for bone/muscle problems. - Concerns regarding the shape of your child’s feet or legs
- General aches and pains
- Other congenital orthopaedic conditions
- Rehabilitation/preparation for planned Orthopaedic surgery
- Talipes – including congenital talipes equinovarus
- Torticollis (child holding head to the side)
Neurological Concerns
- Alterations in muscle tone (a baby or child who is generally floppy or very stiff)- Restrictions in movement
- Problems associated with prematurity Neurological conditions - conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles.
